The Scotland Juneteenth Heritage Festival’s 5K and Family Run is a fun and active way for the whole family to get moving together!

The route takes participants along 7 Locks Road in Potomac, passing by the historic Black community of Scotland. Whether you're walking, jogging, pushing a stroller, or aiming for a personal best, this event is designed for all ages and fitness levels - everyone is welcome to move at their own pace and be part of the celebration.

Parking: Parking will be available at Bells Mill Elementary School. Please look for event signage and follow directions for designated participant parking.

Cost: 5K - $33.00; Family 1-Mile Run - $23.00

Tickets: Click here to register for the 5K and Family Run. Your ticket includes a participant bib and a commemorative t-shirt (you’ll be able to select your size during registration). On race day, we’ll also have snacks, water, and restrooms available.
